Who we are

This website (www.vrfreestyle.eu) is operated by Udruga Pannonian, the lead beneficiary of the VR Freestyle project, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Sport programme (2025–2027).

Pannonian acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect

This is a public information website for a non-commercial EU project. We collect very little personal data:

• Analytics data - anonymised usage statistics via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, session duration, country of origin). No personally identifiable information is retained.
• Email correspondence - if you email us directly, we store your name, email address and the content of the message in order to respond.

We do not run a contact form, user accounts, newsletter subscriptions, or any e-commerce on this site. We do not collect sensitive personal data.

How we use your data

• Analytics - to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its content and navigation. Data is aggregated and never used to identify individuals.
• Email - solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to route it to the appropriate project partner. We do not use your email address for marketing.

Legal basis

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) - for anonymised analytics that help us operate and improve a publicly funded information website.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) - for any analytics cookies where consent is required under applicable law.
• Legitimate interests - for processing email enquiries sent to us by the correspondent.

How long we keep your data

• Analytics data - retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
• Email correspondence - kept for as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry, and no longer than 3 years thereafter unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

• Google Analytics - anonymised usage data is processed by Google LLC under a data processing agreement. Google may transfer data outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
• Project partners - if your enquiry concerns a specific partner (e.g. Simple Session in Estonia, JB Ride in France, MSSA in Malta, Foton in Slovenia), we may forward your email to them with your knowledge. Partners are bound by their own GDPR obligations.
• Legal obligation - if required by law or a court order.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access - request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure - ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Restriction - ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent - where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
